I am volunteering and walking this Sunday, May 27th to support the Dog Guides Program along with members of Lions Clubs of Mississauga. I am reaching out to you asking for a small donation to support this worthy cause. Our club members & I have been involved in the Mississauga Walk for more than 12 years. The Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides is a national fundraising walk held in approximately 300 communities across Canada. It raises funds to help train Dog Guides for Canadians with disabilities. Each Walk is organized by local volunteers with support from Lions Foundation of Canada. To date, the Walk has raised more than $15 million! Go on line & support me and the great program by donating and you will get the tax receipt by email with in seconds. Thank you ! Tony Grewal
Thank you for registering for the Walk for Dog Guides! Thanks to our sponsors, 100 per cent of the funds raised from the Walk go directly towards the raising, training and placement of Dog Guides for Canadians with medical or physical disabilities. Dog Guides Canada has already provided specially trained Dog Guides to more than 3,000 men, women and children, all without any government funding. With your help more people will experience the mobility, safety and independence a devoted Dog Guide brings.
